Freeborn has a new three-piece Cope and Insert Pattern Set. The two-piece cope head has shims so you can easily adjust your fit. The tool features common minor diameters and vertical profile centering. This eliminates the need to adjust the spindle height or fence position when you’re switching from cope to pattern cuts, says Freeborn. The cutters are designed for material from ¾-inches to 7/8-inches thick. The bore diameter is 1-1/4 inches. There are both dedicated profile insert cutters and multi-profile insert cutters. The heads have an outside diameter of 4-1/2 inches, and a 3-1/2-inch minor diameter. The heads accept both square and eased edges. Both carbide and T-alloy tips are available.
