Cutting it both ways

WI0115-00024-festool vecturo-lo-resFestool calls its new Vecturo Oscillating Multi-Tool “the ultimate in versatility.” A wide variety of blades and the tool’s variable speed mean the Vecturo can easily cut, scrape or score virtually any material. Oscillating frequency is 10,000 to 18,500 opm. Amplitude is four degrees (two degrees left, two degrees right). Festool says the Vecturo makes accurate, to-the-line cuts using an industry-first, tool-less plunge base, and because of its slim-body design. The lightweight tool (3.5 pounds, or 1.6 kilograms). Comes with universal, wood and round wood blade. Blades can be changed quickly with the tool’s Fast-Fix quick release lever, Festool says.
