Charles G.G. Schmidt & Co. says its new Hollow-shank taper (HSK) Cutterheads are designed to work with today’s newest moulders. They’re made from alloy steel, with a hardened and ground HSK locking device. The heads are rated for 12,000 rpm and work on any HSK machine. They’re made for ¼-inch, 5/16-inch and 3/8-inch thick knives. These cutterheads are available with a 12- or 20-degree cutting angle, in eight widths from 60 to 240 millimetres.
