Industry gets social

Aug. 20 saw the first Wood Industry Social Network gathering, held in Burlington, Ont.

WISnet meetup croppedSome industry members talked about motivating workers with a martial arts pro, others shared ice bucket challenge video, all enjoyed meeting colleagues in a friendly setting. The Network is an experimental effort to build industry connections, sponsored by FPInnovations and organized by Alain Albert. More meet-ups are planned for the third Wednesday of each month, and Albert hopes WISnet groups will grow beyond southern Ontario. Join the group at http://WISnet.ca.
